Introducing myself: 

Hi everyone! My name is Tobey and I am hugely passionate about transportation and infrastructure. Having graduated with an honours degree in Aerospace Engineering in July 2022 , I took a gap year from this time until September 2023 to reflect on my career decisions.

From September 2023 until August 2024, I studied a postgraduate degree at the Institute for Transport Studies, the University of Leeds as I expressed further interest in land transport, civil engineering infrastructure and understanding its impacts socially, economically and politically.

​Why am I posting as a third perspective? It simply is just a third perspective - no right or wrong answer but just an opinion on the state of public transport and oriented development. Transport is pivotal in regional and national development and its impact have led it to becoming politicised, with decisions causing mixed reactions in society. As third perspectives but also stakeholders, decisions taken will affect society and it is down to us to be further informed of the impacts and scale of these projects.
